Although the RAM is 1 GB, the combination of stronger CPU and chipset may let the phone run much smoother than expected for everyday usage, internet browsing and multitasking. The device is also 4G supported and comes with a compact Android Oreo Go operating system designed to deliver faster browsing experience.
Classic Design, Clear View
Galaxy A2 Core is coming with a classic design. It is made for those looking for a simple, old-school, trustworthy phone in the low-budget segment. The display resolution is qHD which is lower than HD, but the viewing experience looked decent enough to us.
More ROM Means More Storage
Many of the smartphones in this price range are offering 8 GB ROM which can be a bit too low for modern frequent multimedia users. Therefore, 16 GB ROM or internal storage is a big plus for those who want to install many apps and save a decent amount of multimedia files. There is also a dedicated MicroSD slot.
Samsung Camera
When it comes to the camera from Samsung, it can’t be judged only by the amount of megapixels. The fine engineering behind the 5 MP front and 5 MP back camera should capture authentic looking clear shots, good color reproduction and decent sharpness in the daylight conditions.
Reasonable Battery
2600 mAh battery may not sound much. But one should notice that the display is just 5 inches and the resolution is qHD.
